What Is SpartanCash?

SpartanCash is another option to add funds to your card. SpartanCash entitles you to a $1 discount at the Spartan Restaurant; it can be used at retail locations across campus.

• All UNCG Dining locations

• Student Rec Center

• UNCG Parking Services/Walker Avenue Parking Deck

• Jackson Library Copiers

• Spartan Printing

How To Put SpartanCash On Your Card

Method I - Cash

1. Go to any Fill Station on campus.

2. Insert your SpartanCard in the card reader.

3. Wait to see your SpartanCash balance.

4. Put in any combination of $1, $5, $10, or $20.

5. Start spending the money on your card.

Method II - Credit Card

1. Anyone may call the SpartanCard Center at (336)334-5651 to add money using their Visa® or Mastercard®. This includes the SpartanCard holder, their family, or their friends.

2. Please note that the Visa® or Mastercard® holder must present their own credit card information over the phone. We are unable to accept card information from anyone other than the primary card holder, even with their permission.

3. The information that will be requested from the card holder is:
   
   -Student SpartanCard Number
   -Student Name
   -Credit Card Number
   
   

4. Funds may be added over the phone Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. To see a list of holidays the office will be closed, click here.

Method III - Check

1. Friends and Family can write a check to UNCG for any amount.

2. Please mail checks to:
   Spartan Card Center
   EUC 121
   PO Box 26170
   Greensboro NC 27402-6170

3. Or, parents can simply drop off a check at the SpartanCard Center located in Elliott University Center (EUC), room 121.

4. Start spending the money on your card.
